Pandemic Job Search Story #1

I left out a bit, to keep it shorter. I didn't mention the part about our home being sandwiched between 2 wildfires in late August. I evacuated with the kids for a week while my husband stayed behind with our landlord to try to protect the ranch area here. He, our landlord, and CalFire dozers worked tirelessly and succeeded in keeping the fires about 1/3-1/2 mile from our place. It's definitely been an interesting year, to say the least!
